Microcrystalline Wax – USP (US Pharmacopeia) is a refined petroleum-based wax that is odorless, tasteless, and highly resistant to moisture. Wax with a melting point around 150-165°F.

Microcrystalline wax USP is in solid slab form which can easily be broken up into smaller workable pieces, with a white to off-white in appearance.Wax is smooth texture, making it ideal for use in various applications such as candle making and is widely used throughout the personal-care and cosmetic industries in formulations for many everyday beauty products such as pomades, lip balms, lotions, and topical creams to improve overall texture and consistency. 

Microcrystalline waxes are a type of wax produced by de-oiling petrolatum, as part of the petroleum refining process.
