Specifications Clove essential oil
Essential oils are extracted from almost all parts of the clove tree, but the absolutes obtained are not at all similar in their properties. Branches, leaves or buds of a plant can be used as raw materials.
The most valuable and the only one allowed for home use is the oil from the kidneys, which, unlike other types, does not have very irritating properties for the epidermis.
Oil is extracted from the kidneys by steam distillation. Outwardly, it is light, fluid, slightly yellow, eventually acquires a brown color.
The oil obtained from the shoots does not change color over time, and the oil from the leaves is initially colored brown.
High-quality clove ester is characterized by a fruity aroma with a pungent aftertaste, a sharp and tart wood aroma with an oily-sobering aftertaste, a sweet-spicy base and high fruity-fresh notes.
