Hair mask with sea buckthorn oil

What girl doesn't dream of a luxurious cascade of thick, silky and smooth curls? The well-known sea buckthorn oil can create such a head of hair. Possessing a whole range of restorative, stimulating and regenerating qualities, it is successfully used for hair care. This is of particular importance for curls that are regularly exposed to the traumatic effects of frequent staining, perms, irons, hair dryers and hairpins. In the article, we will talk about the use of sea buckthorn oil to prepare a hair mask.

Why sea buckthorn oil is useful for hair

The healing qualities of sea buckthorn berry oil are due to the peculiarities of its biochemical composition.

  • Due to the presence of carotene, which moisturizes dry hairs from the inside and has a beneficial effect on too dry and irritated scalp, the oil is able to fight all types of dandruff and restore the damaged structure of the strands.
  • The presence of vitamin E, which contributes to the saturation of cells and tissues with oxygen, gives the sea buckthorn oil strengthening and moisturizing properties, at the same time giving it the ability to significantly accelerate the growth of curls.
  • The high content of sterols makes this substance an indispensable tool for combating hair loss, and for eliminating any skin irritation on the scalp.
  • The presence of phospholipids, which normalize metabolic processes in hair and skin cells, endows the oil with the ability to return the strands to their former beauty and radiance.
  • A large amount of fruit acids helps this product cleanse the inner hair structure from dead cells, heavy metal salts, dust and dirt particles.
  • Thanks to linoleic acid, the oil perfectly restores the structure of split ends and prevents seasonal thinning of the hair.
  • The presence of vitamin C gives the sea buckthorn oil the ability to stimulate the increased production of collagen by special cells (fibroblasts) of the human body, which, ultimately, is reflected in the improvement of the elasticity of the curls.

Application methods

Sea buckthorn oil is an excellent preventive and therapeutic product that helps not only to cope with many diseases of the skin and hair, but also to prevent their development.

  • It is used for rubbing into hair follicles.
  • They are smeared with curls and applied to their very ends.
  • It is included in the formulation of all kinds of masks.
  • If you take one teaspoon of sea buckthorn berry oil on an empty stomach for a month, you can stop the process of severe hair loss. Taking the product inside is also recommended as a radical remedy for baldness.

Mask recipes

For hair growth

With a composition of three dessert spoons of sea buckthorn oil and a teaspoon of brandy, the roots of the strands are oiled and, having wrapped the hair in cellophane and insulated, left for twenty minutes.

Wash off with the usual shampoo.

A good effect can be expected after four weeks (provided that it is performed regularly at least twice a week).

After a two-month break, it is advisable to repeat the course.

For fat

Three dessert spoons of dry mustard are diluted with such an amount of warm sea buckthorn oil to make a liquid mass. Rubbing it into the hair follicles, then lubricate the strands. Having made a compress, wait twenty minutes. Wash off with a copious amount of liquid with a drop of shampoo.

For dry

To prepare a basic herbal decoction, take three dessert spoons of burdock roots and, pouring in 300 ml of boiling water, cook it over low flame for a quarter of an hour.

After cooling and filtering, mix it with five dessert tablespoons of sea buckthorn oil. They soak dry strands half an hour before washing them.

Wrapping the head with a film followed by its warming is mandatory.

At night

A mask of a combination of vegetable oils (sea buckthorn with burdock or olive), taken in equal proportions, is slowly massaged into the scalp. The massage should start from the back of the head, moving towards the forehead. After completing the ointment of the skin, they go to the full length of the strands, not forgetting about their ends. Covering your head with a piece of polyethylene, put on a soft knitted hat. The healing composition is left overnight. Wash off with plenty of your favorite shampoo.

It is useful to rinse the strands with infusion of burdock roots, nettle, chamomile, elecampane and sage.

To strengthen

Strengthen the strands by smearing the head with three dessert spoons of warmed sea buckthorn oil. The duration of the root massage should be at least ten minutes. After that, applying oil to the curls, create a sauna effect. After standing for two hours, wash off in the usual way.

From falling out

Having made a decoction of burdock roots (as in the above recipe), it is cooled and filtered.

After that, two dessert spoons of burdock and sea buckthorn oil are added to it. Having quickly lubricated the curls with the composition, they stand it on a warmed head for at least fifty minutes.

Wash off with any mild shampoo and warm water.

For the ends

If the ends of the strands are heavily split, it is better to shorten them by a few centimeters, and then regularly apply the following mask. After mixing a dessert spoon of castor and sea buckthorn oil, they are slightly warmed up in a steam bath, and then the very ends of the hair are smeared. After half an hour, rinse thoroughly with water and baby shampoo.

For damaged hair

To help curls affected by frequent exposure to a curling iron or hair dryer, a healing mixture is prepared from the same amount of three natural oils (sea buckthorn, castor and burdock).

Heated them in a steam bath, add one drop of vitamins E and A. Thoroughly distribute the medicinal composition over the entire surface of the head and keep it under a layer of polyethylene and a warming cap for at least half an hour.

After washing off the mask with water and a suitable detergent, rinse the hair with water acidified with lemon juice.

How to use for stained

This nutritional composition is suitable for strands weakened and overdried by exposure to chemical dyes. Taking two dessert spoons of warmed olive and sea buckthorn oil, mix them with one egg and a dessert spoon of thick sour cream. Each curl is evenly coated with the composition and, having warmed the head with a cap, left for two hours.
