Tea tree: essential oil, which can not be done

Many essential oils are multifunctional: they exhibit a whole range of useful properties and are used for completely different tasks, from cosmetic to therapeutic. But even among such "multi-pitters" tea tree oil stands out especially. Reviews of him include such epithets as “indispensable” and “suitable for everything in the world” - and they are completely fair, because the methods of using tea tree oil can easily make an almost endless list. For skin, hair, disinfection, relieving inflammation, fighting infections and fungi, for baths and for colds - tea tree oil diverges very quickly, because you quickly get used to its effectiveness and soon can not do without it.

This versatility of tea tree oil is due primarily to the fact that it is a strong natural antiseptic, which nevertheless acts gently and very naturally. Among the other most noticeable “talents” of this oil: the ability to remove inflammations of various types, fight acne and blackheads, relieve swelling, work against skin infections, heal the respiratory system, strengthen hair and rid of dandruff, disinfect indoor air by removing bacteria, improve oral condition and so on.

Tea tree oil has excellent preventative properties: for example, if your skin is prone to irritation and does not look too healthy, its condition can be improved by periodically taking baths with the addition of tea tree EM, even in a small concentration.

Given the many useful properties of tea tree oil, you expect that its smell will be unpleasant, but in reality it differs though quite expressive, harsh, but still pleasant aroma with a herbal note. In addition, this aroma leaves a fresh mark, that is, if you took a bath with tea tree oil or lit an aroma lamp with it to disinfect the room, then the house will have a pleasant and fresh smell for a long time to come.

Improving the skin.

First of all, tea tree oil is indispensable in those cases when the skin needs healing, for example, getting rid of pimples, acne or herpes on the lips, in general, any inflammation. For these purposes, the oil is used in its pure form and locally: you take a drop of essential oil on your fingertip and gently rub it into the affected area. In the first couple of minutes, a burning sensation may appear, the skin may turn a little red, but if you are not allergic to this oil, after 3-5 minutes everything will be all right.

Tea tree oil is also often used to improve the condition of oily, combination skin, prone to inflammation and related problems. Tea tree EM significantly reduces the risk of inflammation and rashes, slightly dulls the skin and refreshes it. But for such a - general - impact, oil is not used locally and solo, but is added to the base cream, tonic or face mask. The base must be natural; it is best to mix each serving of cream or mask with one drop of tea tree oil, but you can add it immediately to a volume sufficient for 3-5 applications (4-7 drops per 10 ml of base product).

Hair: against dandruff and weakness.

To strengthen the hair roots and improve the scalp, add 2-3 drops per serving of natural shampoo or hair mask. You can also make a more concentrated mask for the scalp: mix burdock oil with tea tree essential oil and rub this mixture several times a week one hour before washing your hair (or all night). If dandruff and a poor condition of the scalp do not have any pathological causes, then the tea tree with constant use may well deal with dandruff and itching. In addition, the use of this EM slowly, but surely, naturally strengthens the hair follicles, stimulating them and killing pathogenic bacteria.

Baths and baths with tea tree oil.

Baths with tea tree oil can perform several functions at once: since this oil simultaneously heals the skin and fights infections, such baths will be useful both for improving the condition of the skin and for the prevention of colds - and their treatment. Also, tea tree oil is a secret weapon to combat the fungus of the feet: if the skin and nails are affected by the fungus to a small extent and recently, daily baths with tea tree EM (10-15 drops in the middle basin for the foot baths) can even cope with the fungal disease on their own . As a prophylaxis or after drug treatment of the fungus, such bathtubs can completely prevent relapses and any similar problems.

Rinse your mouth and throat.

For diseases of the oral cavity (stomatitis, periodontal disease, etc.) tea tree oil can be added to rinse water (2-4 drops per glass of water) and even dripped dropwise onto toothpaste or powder (1 drop per 1 serving). Water with the addition of tea tree oil also gargles with any symptoms associated with it - pain, cough, dryness. The same rinse can significantly reduce the onset of symptoms at the very beginning of a cold.

Speaking of colds. Tea tree oil - the basic EM for the prevention and treatment of colds. What does this mean? You can make inhalations with it, warm baths, compresses, evaporate in aroma lamps for disinfecting the air, take it with you in aroma pendant to better protect yourself from infection, etc.

And this is not a complete list of how to use tea tree essential oil! With water, you can wash your wounds, accelerating the healing process, with water with a weaker concentration of EM, you can wash the floors, saving your home from bacteria (especially true for those with small children).

Important! Tea tree oil should not be used by pregnant women and children under 6-7 years old. Just like any other natural remedy, it can be an allergen for you personally, so be sure to first apply a drop to the bend of the elbow and look at the reaction. If there is a slight burning sensation and redness that will pass quickly, everything is in order, but if the reaction is much more severe, then it is better to refuse the use of tea tree oil.
