CheckoutThree shock treatments for cellulite
Cellulite, of course, is a far-fetched problem, since such a bumpiness of the skin is in fact not a violation, but the very real norm. But all the same, we want the skin to be smooth, elastic, beautiful, that's why we start at the end of each winter to an unequal struggle with the notorious "orange peel". This fight does not have to be for life and death: remember that your goal is not to get rid of cellulite completely and permanently, but simply to improve the condition of your skin, its appearance, freshness, softness, to make your skin more toned. Natural cosmetics can easily cope with all this, as well as products mixed and created by hand based on natural ingredients, famous for their ability to smooth the skin. Well, let's start the operation "smooth skin by spring"?
As already mentioned, cellulite is not a disease, and it is rather necessary to fight not with some terrible enemy, but with such commonplace problems for the end of the cold as sluggish skin, lifelessness, unhealthy shade, flabbiness, loss of elasticity, dryness. Understanding this, we can concentrate on the right tasks: restoring the skin's elasticity, healthy color, firmness and pleasant smooth velvety. As a rule, in the process, cellulite bumps are largely smoothed out, especially if you accompany cosmetic procedures with proper nutrition (a minimum of salt, baking, sweet, alcohol, fried, a sufficient amount of pure water, vegetables) and especially with regular massage or self-massage.
Natural ingredients
Let's figure out the very essence of the issue - namely, which natural ingredients help with the designated tasks. Which of them tone up, warm up, tighten, help a little "melt" subcutaneous fat, smooth the skin. There are many such components, for example:
- Caffeine. Caffeine and coffee in general in various forms is a strong tonic for the skin and blood vessels; relieves swelling, makes the skin more elastic, tightened.
- Spices and spice essential oils. They act as a heating element and are very effective. The most commonly used are ginger, mustard, pepper, cinnamon, cloves.
- Oils. Cosmetic oils are usually used as a base for a massage anti-cellulite mixture, so they require good absorption and the ability to soften the skin, tighten it a little. The most successful oils for such purposes are sweet almond, grape seed, wheat germ and peach oils.
- Essential oils. According to the degree of anti-cellulite effectiveness, essential oils can be conditionally divided into two groups. The first group will contain essential oils with the most expressive effect: rosemary, grapefruit, orange, tangerine (and generally all citrus fruits), as well as bergamot - and a warming group: cinnamon, ginger. In the second group - essential oils, which act in a more varied manner: they both tone and relieve irritation, and help the regeneration of skin cells. Among them are juniper, cedar, fir, geranium, marjoram, tea tree, thyme, cypress and some others.
- Salt. Sea salt, which is part of anti-cellulite bath mixtures and anti-cellulite scrubs, helps relieve swelling, renew the top layer of the skin, make it smoother and softer. Along with cosmetic clay, it is a good base ingredient.
Three remedies - three approaches
Since the beauty of the skin of the body is made up of different factors - from elasticity and good tone to smoothness and even tone - there are many ways to fight for this beauty: massage, exfoliation, hardware methods, all kinds of creams and mixtures, baths, etc. Let's dwell on the three most effective means of fighting cellulite:

Anti-cellulite scrub.
A scrub with an anti-cellulite effect performs two functions at once: it exfoliates, which means it evens out the skin, softens and prepares for the application of other anti-cellulite products, and also, thanks to the components that warm up and activate blood circulation, tone the skin, make it more taut. Natural anti-cellulite scrubs are not uncommon, but given their relatively simple composition, such a scrub can be prepared on your own. The scrub consists of an exfoliating base (for example, sea salt or ground coffee), as well as emollient (cosmetic oil) and additional caring ingredients (in an anti-cellulite scrub - essential oils of citrus, rosemary, ginger, spices, etc.).
Anti-cellulite coffee salt scrub
- Sea salt
- Ground coffee
- Coconut oil
- Almond oil
- Orange essential oil
For one serving, mix 1 teaspoon of sea salt (medium grind, not too coarse) and ground coffee, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and 1 teaspoon of almond oil, add 3-5 drops of orange essential oil to the mixture ( sweet or bitter, tangerine, grapefruit). Mix everything well and use like a regular body scrub, 2-3 times a week.
Body masks and wraps.

Natural masks and body wraps are good because the components included in them act on the skin longer and more actively than other products, and often in conditions of high temperature. Therefore, in the composition of masks and wraps, it is easy to notice the most active components, including warming ones, such as ginger, cinnamon, pepper, as well as tonic essential oils. Natural body masks also tend to have a higher concentration of saturating nourishing oils, including butters.
Important: the body mask is best applied to the skin previously treated with an anti-cellulite scrub. In this case, the effect of the mask will increase.
Massage oils and creams.
All anti-cellulite creams and oils are united by the fact that they are applied during the massage to cleansed and slightly damp skin in problem areas. In this case, the effect of such a remedy consists of the action of the massage and the actual components of the cream or oil, therefore it is very important to massage thoroughly, sparing no time.
Anti-cellulite oil
- Sweet almond oil
- Grape seed oil
- Grapefruit essential oil
- Cinnamon essential oil
For one serving of anti-cellulite oil, mix 1 tablespoon each of almond and grape seed oil, add 5 drops of grapefruit (orange) essential oil and 3 drops of cinnamon (leaves or bark) essential oil. Mix the butter until smooth. Apply the oil in the same way as any anti-cellulite cream or oil: on slightly damp skin, with vigorous but gentle massaging movements.
