GARNET MICA PIGMENT
Bring rich, jewel-inspired color and luminous dimension to your cosmetic creations with Garnet Mica Pigment. This versatile shade is inspired by the deep, dramatic tones associated with garnet gemstones and adds an elegant shimmer to finished products.
Mica is a naturally occurring mineral valued for its light-reflective properties. Finer particles can create a soft, satin-like appearance, while larger particles provide a more noticeable sparkling effect.
Garnet Mica Pigment is approved for general cosmetic use, including eye-area applications. It can be used to add color and shine to soaps, shampoos, lip balms, eye shadows, lipsticks, lotions, creams, mineral makeup, and other cosmetic formulations. This pigment is not recommended for high-pH formulations because color stability may be affected.
Ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Carmine.
Packaging Information:
Pigment is sold by weight rather than volume. As a general reference, one ounce of powdered mica is approximately equivalent to 6–8 teaspoons, although actual volume may vary depending on particle size and settling.
Storage & Handling:
Avoid inhaling airborne powder during handling. Store in a cool, dry location and keep the container securely closed when not in use.
