GOATS MILK GLYCERIN MELT & POUR SOAP BASE ORGANIC PURE
Melt and Pour Goat's Milk Soap Base Organic contains vitamin rich goat's milk which provides moisturizing benefits. This Glycerin Soap Base is ALL VEGETABLE OIL and contains no alcohol or harmful products to dry your skin! Glycerin, a natural emollient, draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy skin. And, since we don't use animal oils, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind. All our soap bases are produced from the highest quality double distilled and deodorized coconut oil, forming luxurious lather and sparkling clarity. Please note that the Goat's Milk Soap may not lather as well as other soap bases. This is due to a natural chemical process and it does not undermine the effectiveness of the product. Usage: A two pound brick can make between 10 - 20 soaps, depending on the size of the soap you’re trying to make. Features: • Highly moisturizing formula • No artificial colors added • No animal testing • 100% Vegetable base • Biodegradable • Wide temperature ranges, from 140 F to 180 F • Odorless base for a superior fragrance lift • Neutral pH of approximately 7.8 • Compatible with wide range of fragrances Caution: When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. So if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We would recommend fully wrapping the ENTIRE soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled--this should minimize/eliminate any shrinkage. We are buying our product from organic certified supplier, made with organic ingredients. IMPORTANT: All of our soaps products are for external use only.

- Sodium Hydroxide
- Titanium Dioxide
- Sorbitol
- Organic Soy Bean Protein
SODIUM HYDROXIDE:
Soap is produced by a saponification or basic hydrolysis reaction of a fat or oil. Currently, Sodium Carbonate or SODIUM HYDROXIDE is used to neutralize the fatty acid and convert it to the salt.
Fatty acids with only 10 or fewer carbons are not used in soaps because they irritate the skin and have objectionable odors.
TITANIUM DIOXIDE:
Titanium Dioxide is a naturally-occurring mineral, mined from the earth. After mining it is processed to remove impurities, leaving behind a mineral pigment in the form of a white powder. Apart from in sunscreen - where the titanium dioxide is used to block UV rays from the skin - it is a mostly aesthetic ingredient that makes products appear more white or opaque.
These two components are used in minimal concentrations.
