Description: Murumuru Butter is an all-natural butter extracted from the seeds of Murumuru palms. Murmuru butter is a waxy solid with emollient properties and carries a gentle nutty aroma. It is used throughout the cosmetic industry for its ability to moisturize the skin as well as improve skin elasticity. Murumuru Butter can be found in many topical body creams, lip balms, hair treatments, and personal-care formulations.

This butter has all the qualities to become your favorite. Murumuru can be used alone but it blends and formulates so well you will want be tempted to try it in every way possible. 

Recommended Usage: 

• Lotions & Creams: 5 - 20 % 

• Balms: 5 - 100 % 

• Bar Soaps: 5 - 20 % 

• Hair Conditioners: 2 - 5 %

When adding a butter to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm it until melted or very soft in texture, and can be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, create a vortex with your cream or lotion and drizzle in your melted butter until fully incorporated and consistently smooth. For addition in soaps, the general rule of thumb is one tablespoon per pound (15 ml/500 g). As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab-scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.

Shelf Life: This butter should be stored in a cool dark place and has a shelf-life of 1 year when stored properly. Note: The appearance of this butter may slightly vary from batch to batch due to natural ingredients present in this product.
