Botanical name: Rosamarinus officinalis

This is a hydrosol, a floral water. This is not an essential oil. 

When essential oils are distilled, water condensation is produced as a byproduct. 

This condensation has the scent of the plant and is called a "hydrosol."

Therefore, hydrosols may smell quite different and distinct as compared to the essential oil.

Important: Please note that floral waters may be sensitizing to some individuals. We strongly recommend that a patch test of this product be done on the skin before use.

Suggested use:

Facial cleanser: Moisten with a cotton pad and swipe across the skin off the face to cleanse. 

Toner: Close the eyes and spray on cleansed skin several times as a daily refresher.

Facial mask: Mix the hydrosol with clay and apply to cleansed skin. Rinse after 10 - 15 minutes. Apply a moisturizer or facial oil thereafter.

Bath additive: Simply add to your bath water.

Haircare: Spray the floral water onto cleansed hair and gently massage the hair and scalp. Do not rinse.

Deodorant & Perfume: Spray as desired.

Aroma massage: Use only pure carrier oils and spray the hydrosol on oily skin before starting the massage.

Air & textile refresher: Simply spray in the air, bed sheets and pillows. Can also be used on laundry before ironing.

Benefits: Rosemary water is slightly astringent and is therefore useful in toning slightly oily complexions. Rosemary water is ideal for cleaning and care of oily skin or acne, smooths, cleanses and purifies skin, helps prevent imperfections. The uplifting scent of Rosemary makes it ideal for use before time of intense concentration and the stimulatory nature helps encourage healthy blood flow in the skin surface. The beauty of rosemary is valued for its ability to stimulate blood circulation. Gives vitality and beauty of skin and hair, regenerates and soothes the scalp, gives freshness care compositions. It prevents hair loss and dandruff. We find blending Rosemary in a low amount with any of the floral waters can help give them a little more stimulation on application. Rosemary is very popular to use as a scalp stimulator which will encourage blood flow to the skin and can help with a variety of scalp related ailments as well as adding gloss to the hair.

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant or under doctors care, consult a physician before use. Stop using if skin becomes irritated. Avoid eye contact. For external use only.

Shelf life: 1 year from the purchase date.

Storage: Store at room temperature, in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight.
